*step 1: set up your phone to have UMMS (unliMMS). Just follow these settings.

-Create your Access point:

Name: kahit ano ex: Globe proxy MMS

APN: www.globe.com.ph

Homepage: (dapat buo pati http://) http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp@mms.x3m.us

-Advance setting:

PSA: 203.177.42.214

Port: 8080

-Press back 2x at kusa na magsasave yan.

-Setup your MMS: Messaging>option>setting>multimedia

Image size: pili na lang kayo.

MMS creation mode: "Guided" (N70) or "Free" sa ibang unit.

Access point in use: piliin ang ginawang Access point sa itaas ex: Globe proxy MMS.

Multimedia retrieval: Manual

Allow anon messages: no

Receive adverts: yes

Receive reports: no

Deny report sending: no

Message validity: Maximum time

 ngaun ay may UMMS na kayo kahit zero load. Mas maganda nga kung zero talaga para walang mababawas or dapat below 4 pesos para hindi mabawasan. 

*step2: ito na yung 3k para yung isesend ninyong MMS ay maconvert into SMS kasi kapag MMS ang sinend ninyo, hindi ito mabubuksan ng recipient kung hindi activated ang MMS subscription niya. In this case pwede niyo pa rin maipaabot ang mensahe sa kung sino gusto ninyo itxt sa pamamagitan ng paglalagay ng mensahe sa "Subject field" ng MMS pero hanggang 40 characters lang ang pwedeng i-type at may mga unit na sadyang walang "subject field" gaya ng mga os7 kaya mahalaga ang mga susunod na steps para mapakinabangan ng mga os7 users ang UMMS bilang free txting tool. To do so, just follow the simple 3k below.

-set up your phone book contacts: kaya tinawag na phone book 3k ay dahil dito.

Contacts>piliin ang mga contacts na madalas ninyong itxt>option>open>option>edit>option>add detail>click email.

Copy the phone number or type them down sa email field ex: +63907xxxxxxx or 63907xxxxxxx or 0907xxxxxxx. 

Here's the 3k: type @m2m.ph after the phone number ex: +63907xxxxxxx@m2m.ph or 63907xxxxxxx@m2m.ph or 0907xxxxxxx@m2m.ph. Press done. 

Ulitin lang ang step na ito sa lahat ng phone book entries na tinitxt ninyo. Kahit anong Network pwede yan. Mejo hassle lalo na kung sandamukal ang txtmates ninyo.

*step3: send unlixt sa lahat ng network. Para magawa ito, just follow this....

-Messaging>New Message>Multimedia Message> click inside the box for recipient at lalabas na ang mga contacts ninyo.

-Piliin ang Contact na gustong i-txt (ito yung mga contacts na nilagyan ninyo ng 3k) ex: junley4.

-May lalabas na dalawang options; Mobile at E-mail. piliin ang E-mail.

-Leave the subject blank. hindi na yan kailangan.

-Type your message sa txtbox sa ibaba ng subject.

-Press send. That's it.

Note: Ang matatanggap ng recipient ay parang ganito:

From: 29480000000001(your number)@myglobe.com.ph

May 1 to 2 mins delay ito. 

itype din ang name ninyo sa dulo ng message para malaman ng tinxt ninyo na kayo nga ang nagtxt.

with this, hindi na kylangan pa na pumasok sa mga free texting site. Tested at gumagana na rin on some S40 V2 phones.

S40 Setting

This procedure ay para sa mga S40 phones. Tried and tested sa s40v2 phones. pkitry na lang po sa s40v3 baka pareho lang ng settings.

*1st create your connection: Go to Menu>setting>configuration>personal configuration serttings>option>add new> multimedia

-acc name: any name exroxyMMS

-server add: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp@mms.x3m.us

-use prefered access point: no

*access point setting:

-proxy:enabled

-proxy address: 203.177.42.214

-proxy port: 8080

*bearer settings

-packet data access point: www.globe.com.ph

-leave other field as is.

-press back untill the configuration automatically saves.

*after the configuration is saved, highlight it then press option>activate

THAT'S IT FOR THE CONNECTION SETTINGS.

*Next is setting up your MMS to have UnliMMS: go to Menu>messaging>message settings>multimedia msgs

-delivery reports: no

-MMS creation mode: free

-image size: original

-allow multimedia reception: no

-allow adverts: yes

-configuration settings: DO NOT CHANGE THIS FIELD.JUST LEAVE IT AS IT.

*To send UMMS, just go to messaging>create message>message>option>to multimedia

note: may limit po ung matatanggap ng ittxt ninyo using this 3k. Ayon sa ibang nagtry, 3-4 ang pwedeng matanggap ng tinitxt ninyo at kapag lumagpas pa doon ang ittxt ninyo ay hindi na niya ito mababasa, sa halip ay makakatanggap siya ng notification na umabot na xa sa limit ng SMS na natatanggap mula sa @m2m.ph. So that means hindi nato unli sa mga makakatanggap pero unli pa rin para sa atin na nagsesend ng messages.

CLARIFICATIONS about m2m.ph and fast.ph

-Ang problema natin ay una, hanggang 4 or 5 lang ang pwede ninyo isend sa isang number. After 12midnight pa magrereset un para makatanggap ulit ang sender ng maayos na message at hindi na limit notification. 

-Ang plain number sa recipient naman ay plain MMS lang din ang makakarating sa padadalhan ninyo. wala itong silbi kung low end ang phone na padadalhan ninyo ex:B&W phones na hindi MMS capable. Wala itong limit kung recipient ang pag-uusapan hindi gaya ng sa ginamitan ng @m2m.ph.

*NARITO ANG SOLUSYON

-palitan ang @m2m.ph ng @fast.ph

-matagal na itong ginagamit pero ngayun natin ito higit na pakikinabangan dahil sa buhay pa ang UMMS ni kuya globo.

-parang @m2m.ph din ang dating nito kaso ung message na ittype ninyo sa message field ay hindi mababasa nang buo. up to 40 chars lang ang mababasa. Ok na to libre naman!

-pwede din na sa halip na sa message field magtype ng message ay sa subject field na lang magtype dahil hindi niyo na kailangang magbilang up to 40 chars dahil hanggang 40 chars lang talaga ang pwede sa subject.

*Downside: hindi ito pwedeng gamitin kung ang itxt ninyo ay sun subs dahil hindi dadating ung message ninyo. Recomended ito for txting globe and smart pero kung sun ang ittxt, @m2m.ph lang ang pwede sa ngaun.

* For os7 phones na walang subject field sa MMS creator, itype lang ang message ninyo sa mismong txt body pero bilangin ninyo ung characters na ittype ninyo kasi baka lumagpas kayo sa 40 chars. 

Photo and status upload/update on facebook

Now pwede na nating gamitin itong gamitin for uploading pictures sa facebook. Dati kasi masyadong maliit ung MMS file size na pwedeng isend, around 10kb lang kaya hirap pag ganito kasi mostly ay mas mataas sa 10 kb ang MMS file size kapag nag-insert na ng mga pics na galing sa phone cameras. To solve this ay kailangan lang ng kaunting modification sa settings natin. 

*Here's how: Sa MMS setting ng phone ninyo ay may papalitan lang. Go to Messaging>option>setting>multimedia

Image size: Large

MMS creation mode: Free.

-Yan lang ang babaguhin sa setting na nasa itaas. Same ang gagawin on s60 at s40 phones.

-Tested ko na po sa n70 at 7610. Pics from my phones camera ang sinend ko. Original size ng pic ay around 200kb pero kapag ininsert na sa MMS ay nagiging 25-30 kb xa. 

Note: Para magawa ito ay dapat alam ninyo ang unique personalized upload email ex: symb1234@m.facebook.com. To do so, login lang kayo sa fb ninyo using pc (di ko po alam kung om ang gagamitin via cp mode) tapos find upload photo. Sa bandang ibaba nung box kung saan kayo gagawa ng bagong photo album ay may nakalagay na "about mobile photos". Click niyo lang iyon at makikita niyo na ung email ninyo for fb upload. 

Please remmeber the following:

The email subject will be used as the caption of your photo or video if your email contains photo or video.

The email subject will be used as your updated status if your email contains no photo or video.

Save your upload email as a contact for easy access.

Photos and videos uploaded via email are visible to everyone by default. You can change this for any album from the site itself.

Anytime you want, refresh your upload email."

-Pwede din itype ung pang-update ng status sa mismong txt body ng MMS kaya maganda din itong gamitin sa mga os7 at os8 phones like 6600, 7610, 6630 etc.

*Para makapag-upload, open Messaging>New message>Multimedia message. Ilagay sa recipient ung fb upload email ninyo then insert ninyo ung image na gusto nnyo i-upload at isend na.

SETTING FOR OTHER PHONE UNITS

1. FOR SE USERS GO TO POST #317, NANDUN UNG SETTING PARA SA SE, BALE SEP990i UNG GAMIT NA UNIT 4 TESTING DUN.

2. FOR MOTOROLA USERS, GO TO PAGE 38, POST #375. NANDUN UNG SETTING NA GINAWA KO PARA SA MGA MOTOROLA USERS.

3. FOR SAMSUNG USERS, GO TO POST # 404. CORBY ANG GINAMIT DUN.

4. FOR CHINA PHONES, GO TO PAGE 54 POST # 534 BY ZWACKIN.

KNOWN ISSUES ON TXTING VIA UMMS

Q:Walang image yung sinend using @fast.ph or @m2m.ph

A: Talagang walang lalabas na image yan kasi converted into sms na yung ginamitan ng @fast.ph and m2m.ph. Sms na po siya and not mms. Kung gusto ninyo na may image, just send plain mms na walang @fast or @m2m, send it to plain cp number pero dapat may load yung padadalhan ninyo kasi hindi niya matatanggap ito kung wala siyang load: sa smart kahit piso pwede, sa globe dapat 15 pesos.

Q: Ayaw masend, napupunta lang sa outbox.

A: Idisconnect lang yung connection sa s60 at sa s40 naman cancel lang yung sending then resend ulit. Minsan kasi ayaw kumagat ng connection ng Myglobe connect, pag ganun dapat terminate muna yung connection tapos resend lang.

Q: Nagsend naman pero bakit walang dumadating sa pinadalhan na cp?

A: 1. Baka naman plain mms ang sinend mo tapos 3310 ang sinendan mo, patay tayo jan 

*Plain MMS( w/o @fast or @m2m): Pwede lang sa mms enabled phones. Use this to send images

* With @fast or @m2m: Pwede yan sa lahat ng phone kasi magiging sms yung message ninyo.

2. Minsan sobrang bagal ng server na gamit natin w/c is "x3m.us". Nakikigamit lang po tayo sa server nila para maisend ng free ang mga mms natin. Kaya para sigurado, use both @fast at @m2m

3. Ang @fast.ph ay hindi narereceive ng mga sun cell users, pwede lang ito sa mga smart and globe recipient. Yung @m2m.ph ang pwede sa lahat ng network kaso ma limit na 3-4 messages per recipient per day. Limit will replenish at 12 midnight.

Q: Wala yung message na tinype ko, ang lumabas lang ay "from mms@x3m.us mms message hi* this message is free. Reply G if you want to view the message."

A: Kung os7 ang cp mo, make sure na 40 characters lang ang message mo using @fast.ph dahil kapag sobra sa 40 ay hindi lalabas ang message. Gamitin niyo na lang ang @m2m.ph for os7 users.
