How to make partition of extern HDD to have two drive letter name

If your running windows 2000 pro or windows xp go here My Computer,Control Panel,Administrative Tools,then double click Computer Management.

Look for Disk Management on the left and double click it.

You will see your drives in the window

IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING ON THIS DRIVE YOU WANT TO KEEP TRANSFER IT TO YOUR C DRIVE BEFORE YOU GO TO THE NEXT STEP.

Delete the partition and then create a new partition,you can adjust the size here and assign a drive letter that you want,after this is done go back and you will see the un active partition that is still there do the same with that drive but this time leave the size alone and it will use the rest of the drive,follow the on screen prompts.
